"First met Seb through Northumbria Men’s Rugby Union, and we would often meet over a coffee. Before working with Seb as a sports psychologist, I thought it would involve just the mental side of the game, but it was so much more. Our conversations were always open and not just focused on the mental aspects. With his experienced rugby background, we were able to discuss scenarios that often happened throughout the game and put them in a psychological perspective. He took the time to understand me as an individual, which really shows his character.


For me, I always knew it was beneficial, but having Seb work with me became even more important when I suffered a severe injury to my left leg. After hearing about my injury, Seb was in touch right away, offering his services and being available for calls whenever I needed them, ensuring I never felt isoloated. It would have been easy for me to ignore and just keep to myself, but that is not what I needed. Even though I wasn’t playing, Seb’s guidance and knowledge allowed me to feel much better about myself and started the mental ‘rehabilitation’ process way before the physical.
Everything Seb provided made the whole process easier. It was easy for me to get frustrated at times and feel sorry for myself, but Seb always focused my mind on the small wins I was making (even if I couldn’t see them). His support and caring nature made things a lot easier during a very tough time. His support wasn’t only focused around the rugby side of things or the rehabilitation process but also balancing my studies while I was bed-bound for a couple of months.


Seb’s dedication and expertise in sports psychology have not only aided my physical recovery but also strengthened my mental fortitude. I thoroughly enjoy working with Seb as my sports psychologist, and now mate. I highly recommend his services to anyone involved in sport. "
